Payment & cancellation
Payment & Cancellation Policy
What you pay, when you pay it, and exactly what happens to that money if you have to cancel. No small print that contradicts the page above it.
How payment works
Step 01
Token payment
₹4,999
At reservation
Paid at the time of reservation. This secures your registration for the Kashmir Marathon and is non-refundable, because it covers your official race entry processing with the organiser.
Step 02
Main payment
80% of package cost
15–20 days after the token
Due 15 to 20 days after your token payment. This is what confirms your hotel rooms, your transfers and your on-ground services — until it lands, nothing is held in your name.
Step 03
Final settlement
Balance due
At hotel checkout
Settled at hotel checkout, covering any incidentals or on-ground adjustments. Nothing here is a surprise charge; it is the tail of what you have already seen.
Cancellation & refund policy
The charges below apply to the package portion of your booking and are measured against the event date, Sunday 25 October 2026.
- 30 days or more before the event
- 10% of the total package cost
- 15–29 days before the event
- 50% of the total package cost
- 7–14 days before the event
- 75% of the total package cost
- Less than 7 days before the event
- 100% — no refund
- No-show
- No refund for non-utilisation of any booked service
The official race entry is non-refundable and non-transferable under the organiser's terms (Department of Tourism, J&K), and so is the ₹4,999 token that pays for it. Neither is within our control once submitted — anyone who tells you otherwise is guessing.
Cancellations must be sent in writing to your named concierge. The date we receive that written notice is the date used to determine which tier applies.
